INNATE™
Precision Packaging Resins
What does precision packaging look like?
Strength. Stiffness. Toughness. Durability. Processability. Blendability. Sustainability. All are essential to many of today’s packaging applications. What if you could achieve all of them in a single resin? And what if you could “dial in” the exact properties per application? Our scientists came up with a way. Then we gave them a name: INNATE™ Precision Packaging Resins.
Accurate and consistent resin
A breakthrough patented molecular catalyst and advanced process technology makes it happen. Accurate and consistent control of the resin chemistry allows performance levels and combinations of film properties like never before. And every INNATE™ resin offers that ability to precisely “dial in” your desired properties.

Be confident in your packaging
INNATE™ resins confidently address many needs of the packaging value chain. They can help deliver lighter, stronger, more durable packaging films for numerous applications even beyond packaging:
- Dry food packaging
- Liquid packaging
- Non-food consumer packaging
- Specialty packaging
- Heavy-duty shipping sacks
- Industrial packaging
- Silage wrap
Dependable resins
For food packaging in particular and consumer product packaging in general, INNATE™ Precision Packaging Resins offer dependable performance where it’s most important:
- Down-gauging potential up to 25% while achieving similar or improved toughness (structure dependent)
- Superb processability – alone or in blends
- Stiffness needed for efficient filling, displaying, and storing of packages like stand-up pouches
- Durability, including abuse and abrasion resistance, excellent flex crack resistance for liquid packaging, and low-temperature toughness.

The Future of Sustainable Packaging
INNATE™ TF Polyethylene Resins for Tenter Frame Biaxial Orientation (TF-BOPE) are breaking through the sustainability limits of traditional PE formulations.
This landmark innovation is bringing the many benefits of targeted film orientation to more converters. Machine direction orientation (MDO) is easier, and even polyethylene biaxial orientation (BOPE) can be accomplished with standard BOPP lines. The result is more of everything wanted in a packaging film. Downgauging potential. Greater abuse resistance. Optics that stand out and more.
As a replacement for BOPP in many flexible packaging structures, INNATE™ TF resins make mono-material (all-PE), 100% recyclable packages possible – an excellent proof point for promoting sustainability initiatives.

High performance. Complete recyclability.
INNATE™ ST polyethylene resins demonstrate impressive structural and abuse performance with unprecedented combinations of stiffness and toughness. That means durability, excellent line speeds, and solid shelf appeal across a range of packaging applications.
Performance
INNATE™ ST polyethylene resins are demonstrating
impressive structural and abuse performance with new levels of stiffness and toughness – all in an easy-processing, recycle-ready packaging film resin.
Sustainability
As a PE-based replacement for not-in-kind components such as nylon or PET in flexible packaging layers, INNATE™ ST resins help take yet another step toward all-PE, completely recyclable flexible packages. Additional advantages are found in potential downgauging and production efficiencies.
Variety
The ST family is growing quickly, already with three commercialized resins available to make choosing the best for your applications that much easier:
- INNATE™ ST 50 Precision Packaging Resin
- INNATE™ ST 70 Precision Packaging Resin
- INNATE™ ST 100 Precision Packaging Resin
