RHOBARR™ Barrier Coatings for fiber-based foodservice packaging
RHOBARR™ 110 Emulsion
An acrylic copolymer latex built for paper and board coatings that need a tough oil and grease barrier with block resistance and flexibility. It performs in severe folded OGR testing and applies through common aqueous coating or printing methods.
RHOBARR™ 135 Emulsion
A styrene acrylic latex that pairs oil and grease resistance with block resistance and flexibility for paper and board.
RHOBARR™ 214 Emulsion
A mineral oil barrier with plasticizer resistance for paper, board and thermal paper, a strong fit for dryer sheets and printed cartons. It adds heat sealability and a low coefficient of friction to the coated surface.
RHOBARR™ 320 Barrier Dispersion
An acid-modified polyolefin dispersion that delivers a hot and cold-water barrier with oil, grease and heat-seal performance for cup stock. A thin, water-based coating that cuts raw material use by 50 to 70% and reaches over 99% fiber recovery.
RHOBARR™ 325 Barrier Dispersion
A low-odor, aqueous dispersion engineered for a strong barrier to hot and cold liquids on cup stock. It adds oil and grease resistance, heat sealability, and block resistance. Coated stock recovered 91% of its fiber in recycling trials.
RHOBARR™ 325 HS Barrier Dispersion
Built on the original RHOBARR™ 325 Barrier Dispersion with an enhanced heat seal, this dispersion keeps the same oil, grease and liquid barrier while improving seal strength for higher-speed forming and filling
RHOBARR™ 620 Barrier Dispersion
A high-solid, low-viscosity dispersion built for converters. Its heat-seal and hot-tack performance allows fast filling of paper packaging with heavy contents and helps hold pouch integrity at the demanding triple-point area, with no leaks.
