SYNALOX™ Lubricants

Meeting today’s lubricant demands

High performance polyglycols

SYNALOX™ Lubricants are synthetic polyglycol base stocks designed for a wide range of industrial and automotive lubricant applications. They enhance the performance of gear oils, compressors, and hydraulic fluids, and are ideal base oils for making greases. In addition, they are widely used in chemical fiber spin finishes and metal working fluids.

Polyglycols have a very flexible chemistry, and SYNALOX™ Lubricants have been designed with special characteristics that make them ideal choices as base stocks, components, or additives in a wide variety of lubricant formulations. Polyglycol based formulations provide low surface tension, hence good wetting and excellent film forming characteristics, while also exhibiting low foaming properties. SYNALOX™ Lubricants are helping formulators meet today’s ever-increasing demands placed on lubricants.

Helping formulators meet demands

SYNALOX™ Lubricants can be tailor-made to meet the highest performance standards, particularly in applications where high temperatures can degrade petroleum-based products. SYNALOX™ Lubricants feature important attributes of synthetic lubricants such as:

Excellent Lubricity

Film forming properties and high viscosity indices.

Clean Burning

No varnish and deposit forming.

Good Hydrolytic Stability

High oxidation and thermal stability; Low pour points; Low Coefficient of Friction (CoF), gas solubility and flammability.

Sustainability

Biodegradable and low aquatic toxicity.
