What is XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 1000 cSt Food Grade?
100% Active 1000CS Food Grade polydimethyl siloxane polymer. Meets the requirements of 21 CFR Section 173.340. A yearly Food Safety audit is conducted by NSF in certain geographic regions using the Supplier Assurance – Food Safety Expectations and Criteria for Food Processing Facilities audit process.
Uses
- Primarily used as a surface treatment, release material, lubricant and processing aid in food processing and packaging applications. Some of these include rendering and edible oil processing.
