What is XIAMETER™ OFX-8803 Fluid?

An organofunctional silicone softener that imparts softness to a variety of textile substrates. Can be easily formulated into a microemulsion that is more shear stable than traditional aminofunctional silicone microemulsions. The microemulsion has been shown to be compatible with crease resistant resins.

Uses

Imparts soft handle to many types of fabric
Easily formulated into a stable microemulsion
Can be applied to fabric by roller padding and jet dyeing machine exhaustion
Can be applied in the same bath with resin for durable press finishing
Can be applied for pigment printing fabric softening
The treated fabric is less yellowing and less hydrophobic than corresponding fabric treated with conventional amino functional silicone
The treated fabric can be evenly re-dyed after appropriate stripping
