A hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC). This product was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives and tile grouts. It imparts well-balanced properties to cement. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.This product has a lower product carbon footprint version available under Decarbia™ Dow brand.
