WALOCEL™ MKX 6000 PF01 Cellulose Ether

This product is designed to enhance the quality and processing characteristics of cement-based materials such as tile grouts, repair mortars and the cementitious parts of an exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS). Compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders, the product adds excellent open time, adhesion properties and shear strength. It also enhances workability and water retention. The selected particle size distribution offers quick, lump-free dissolution. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.This product has a lower product carbon footprint version available under Decarbia™ Dow brand.
