What is WALOCEL™ MKS 20000 PF 30 Cellulose Ether?
A medium modified hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC). This product was developed for cement-based applications like cement-based tile adhesives. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content. This product has a lower product carbon footprint version available under Decarbia™ Dow brand. For this case the PCF reduction is -18% coming from renewable energy.
