What is PARALOID™ K-185 ER Polymeric Lubricant?
An acrylic polymer, used as a Polymeric Lubricant in PVC formulations. It is a highly efficient polymeric lubricant for PVC formulations providing excellent processability at high temperatures and unique and outstanding hot metal release performance. Due to its external lubricant function, PARALOID™ K-185 ER Polymeric Lubricant prevents the melt sticking to the hot metal surfaces of equipment without generating plate-out. Even at very high processing temperatures, the hot metal release effect is excellent. PARALOID™ K-185 ER Polymeric Lubricant can be used in combination with other conventional acrylic processing aids.

- Calendaring of films, extrusion of foamed PVC sheets, rigid profiles and injection-molding of fittings
