What is PARALOID™ EXL-3691J Impact Modifier?
MBS pellet-formed impact modifier, that offers low temperature impact along with improved thermal, hydrolytic, and shear stability, plus colorability in PC (polycarbonate), PBT, and PC blends such as PC/ABS, PC/PET, and PC/PBT, including glass-filled systems.
Uses
- For use as an impact modifier with particularly good heat and hydrolysis resistance for an MBS modifier
- Use with engineering resins including polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and PC blends such as PC/PET, PC/PBT, and PC/ABS
- Can be used in glass-filled systems
- Durable goods
- Automotive and transportation applications
- Sporting and leisure equipment
- Useful in a variety of resin conversion processes, including injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and thermoforming
- Useful for applications requiring heat and humidity resistance
