What is PARALOID™ EXL-2691J Impact Modifier?

MBS impact modifier for PC, PBT and PC blends (incl. glass‑filled) offering low‑temperature impact plus enhanced thermal, shear and hydrolytic stability and colorability. Robust across injection, blow molding, extrusion and thermoforming conditions. Enhances toughness, hydrolytic resistance, and consistency in recycled PC.

Uses

For use as an impact modifier with particularly good heat and hydrolysis resistance for an MBS modifier
Use with engineering resins including polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), PC blends such as PC/PET, PC/PBT, and PC/ABS
Can be used in glass-filled systems
Durable goods

Sporting and leisure equipment
Useful in a variety of resin conversion processes, including injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and thermoforming
