MC 40 Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose

MC 40 is a multi-purpose grade designed for formulations of tile adhesives and skim coat. It has a surface treatment which allows a delayed dissolution. It will impart a balanced performance to include: workability, open time, crack resistance and bond strength.Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
