Dual curing conformal coating for optimizing mass production
Designed for automated spray processing for high volume production, DOWSIL™ CC-8030 UV and Moisture Dual Cure Conformal Coating reduces work-in-progress. It is a first-of-its-kind silicone conformal coating, offering a distinct combination of features, including dual curability: UV light exposure allows for rapid curing, while a secondary moisture cure allows for curing in shadowed areas beneath PCB components. This conformal coating also cures quickly at room temperature to provide a “dispense-and-forget” option that is tack-free and ready to move down the production line in less than 10 minutes.
DOWSIL™ CC-8030 Conformal Coating is ideal for providing protection in harsh conditions. It provides excellent protection in highly humid environments, protection against contamination and excellent flame retardancy and electrical properties, and its low modulus makes these protections applicable for delicate components. This conformal coating also contributes to sustainability as it is BTEX solventless, requires less energy consumption than coatings processed with heat curing and offers a sustainable eco-friendly environment for workers.
