DOWFAX™ DF 105 Defoamer

A viscous liquid at room temperature with a low pour point. It is an efficient foam control agent by having low foam characteristics and inverse water solubility. It is used in such processes as flash distillation of seawater, boiler waters, metal working fluids, paper processing and medium temperature food processing. Its cloud point in a 1 wt% aqueous solution is ~ 23°C. Defoamer for low foam surfactant for cooling tower process cleaning, for fermentations. Indirect food contact compliance.
