What is BYNEL™ 21E927 Adhesive Resin ?
Anhydride modified ethylene acrylate resin. Contains a thermally stable ester which makes it functional in higher temperature coextrusion processing conditions. Available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins.
Uses
- Tie layer for adhesion to a variety of materials including EVOH, polyamide, PE, PET, ethylene copolymers, and ionomers
- Typically in blown coextrusion process including double and triple-bubble
Benefits
- Have a good balance of adhesion between Polyester (PET) and Polypropylene (PP), and also Polyester (PET) to SURLYN™ ionomer
- Formulated for use in blown biaxially oriented film, in particular for the triple bubble type process
