WALOCEL™ Cellulose Ethers
The unique water retention properties of WALOCEL™ are what make thin-set cement-based tile mortars possible.
This highly efficient water retention comes from dosages typically between 0.2-0.5%. This small amount however delivers powerful performance, and is responsible for providing the applicator the workability, open-time and adjustability time needed for high quality installation, as well as helping to insure cement hydration and optimal bond strength development.

DOW™ Latex Powder 2141
This vinyl acetate-ethylene-VeoVa-copolymer-based latex powder offers hydrophobic properties. It offers excellent adhesion even to difficult substrates, while reducing capillary water absorption.
WALOCEL™ MKW 4000 PF01
This is a hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC) imparting very good workability and a long open time thanks to its high water retention properties.
DOWSIL™ GP SHP 60 Plus
This silicone hydrophobic powder contains a finely dispersed silicon-based active with excellent dispersibility into water. It substantially decreases water absorption and minimizes efflorescence by reducing the transport of water-soluble salts.
