Applying the power of collaboration, we’ve engaged with leading automotive suppliers Adient, a market leader for seating in the automotive sector, and Autoneum, the leading acoustics and thermal management supplier, to tap into the potential of the mass balance approach for our SPECLEX™ Circular Series. Both companies are incorporating SPECFLEX™ Circular into their existing products without having to adapt formulations or processes. Together, we can transition to a low carbon mobility.
By using circular feedstocks, Dow provides a range of solutions for products with up to 55% recycled content and an improved lifecycle analysis profile compared to fossil-based fuel.
SPECFLEX™ Circular Series reduces our dependence on fossil fuels through circular mobility solutions without any loss in quality or performance.
Our SPECFLEX™ Circular Series uses a circular feedstock sourced from recycled raw materials of the mobility sector to enable a wide range of flexible foam solutions for comfort and acoustic purposes in interior, exterior, as well as powertrain solutions in consumer and transportation applications.
By using circular feedstocks instead of virgin fossil-fuel based ones, SPECFLEX™ Circular products reduce our carbon footprint (carbon calculations follow ISO 14044*) and promote automotive sustainability throughout vehicle lifecycles.
