ENDURANCE™ HFDD-4201 Compound for Cable Systems wins R&D 100 Award

Dow recently won a 2023 R&D 100 Award for our ENDURANCE™ HFDD-4201 Compound for Cable Systems, a novel cross-linked polyethylene solution for the power transmission market. ENDURANCE™ HFDD-4201 Compound for Cable Systems is a fully formulated polymer compound for high voltage insulation designed for use in underground and undersea power cables up to 500 kV.

 

​This solution transforms the cable manufacturing process with shorter cycle times in the production phase, creating business efficiencies while lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
