Plastic Packaging Tax came into force on 1 April 2022 in the UK as the first country in Europe to implement such tax. UK manufacturers of plastic packaging, importers of plastic packaging, business customers of manufacturers and importers of plastic packaging, and consumers who buy plastic packaging or goods in plastic packaging in the UK are impacted by this new tax.

First reporting is required after 1 July 2022. To support our customers & distributors to fulfill the regulatory requirements, we are providing the details on plastic packaging weights and % of recycled plastic.

Note: There will be an exemption for manufacturers and importers of less than 10 tonnes of plastic packaging per year.
