Dow VORAFORCE™ TP Resin Systems

VORAFORCE™ TP resins can deliver improved pultrusion processing speeds with the flexibility to include pre-blended pigments and internal mold release (IMR).

Our aromatic resin systems are styrene free and enable composite materials with higher fiber loading (>80wt%) compared to alternative chemistries. This translates into cost effective, stronger and thinner profiles.

Composite profiles made with VORAFORCE™ TP resins additionally render composites to meet Class A or Class 1 Fire and Smoke (flame spread index <25; smoke developed index <450) rating per ASTM E84, in accordance to the International Building Code (IBC).

VORAFORCE™ TP 1200 NA Isocyanate

This two-component polyurethane resin system enables the manufacturing of composites via pultrusion. These composites feature high glass fiber content (~82wt%), superior strength and toughness, and fast production line speeds compared to traditional materials.

VORAFORCE™ TP 1210 Isocyanate

A 3-component system used for the manufacturing of composites by Pultrusion. It offers excellent wetting of fibers, fast reaction kinetics and low pull forces while providing good surface quality at accelerated line speeds. This system is suitable to produce carbon fiber reinforced structural profiles.

VORAFORCE™ TP 1270EU Polyol

A 3-component system used for the manufacturing of composites by Pultrusion. Designed to have excellent wetting of fibers, fast reaction kinetics and low pull forces while providing good surface quality at accelerated line speeds. Suitable to produce carbon fiber reinforced structural profiles.

VORAFORCE™ TP 1264 Formulated Polyol

VORAFORCE™ TP 1300 NA Isocyanate

Used with VORAFORCE™ TP 1264 Formulated Polyol, this two-component polyurethane resin system enables pultrusion manufacturing of composites. It offers low mix viscosity for profiles up to 0.50-0.75 inches thick, high glass fiber content (~82wt%), superior strength and toughness, and fast production line speeds.

VORAFORCE™ TP 1300 Isocyanate

A 3-component system which has excellent wetting of reinforcements, fast reaction kinetics and low pull forces while providing good surface quality at accelerated line speeds. Due to its low initial viscosity, this is suitable to produce carbon fiber reinforced structural profiles for Pultrusion processing.

VORAFORCE™ TM 3700 Additive

An internal mold release additive that can be used as a 3-component system for the manufacturing of composites. This processing aid contains no silicone and will not interfere with secondary finishing operations, while helping to reduce pulling force and optimize surface finishing.
