What is XIAMETER™ OFS-6595 Silane?

Blend of n-octyltriethoxysilane and reactive silicone resin.

For use on substrates such as brick, stone, concrete and mortar that require water repellency

Dilutable in common solvents to formulate water repellent products
Produces a hydrophobic treatment that inhibits water absorption
Excellent performance at low active solids levels, ranging from 5 to 10 percent
Small molecular structure allows product to deeply penetrate the substrate
Chemically bonds to substrates
Performs on both neutral and alkaline substrates
Reduces water absorption, thus reducing cracking and spalling caused by freeze-thaw and efflorescence, thereby increasing substrate life
Treatment does not change substrate appearance when properly formulated and applied
Effective at concentrations as low as 5 percent actives
