Acrylic core shell copolymer, having excellent compatibility in polycarbonate (PC), PBT, and polycarbonate alloys such as PC/ABS, PC/PBT and PC/PET, providing superior toughness performance while maintaining good flexural modulus. The unique acrylic composition, with a glass transition temperature lower than -50℃, leads to good impact performance at very low temperatures. This chemical composition also yields good weatherability and aging stability that surpasses the performance of vinyl rubbers.
Uses
For use as a UV and heat-resistant impact modifier
For use with engineering resins including polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), PC blends such as PC/PET, PC/PBT, and glass-filled nylon
Applicable in a variety of resin conversion processes, including injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and thermoforming
Benefits
Greatly increases toughness of polycarbonate (PC), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), PC blends such as PC/PET, PC/PBT, PC/PLA, styrene/acrylonitrile (SAN), glass-filled PC and glass-filled nylon
