WALOCEL™ MC 60 Cellulose Ether

This is a hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC) with delayed solubility which is a multi-purpose grade designed for economic formulations of tile adhesives. It has a surface treatment which allows a delayed dissolution. It will impart a balanced performance to include: workability, open time, crack resistance and bond strength. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
