SI-LINK™ DFDB-5410 BK PE Moisture-Curable Compound

A carbon black filled masterbatch developed for use with the SI-LINK™ Polyethylene insulation system. This carbon black masterbatch is especially designed to provide excellent UV protection and to minimize the amount of moisture it absorbs. Advantages this product has excellent handling and processing advantages when used in SI-LINK™ Polyethylene insulation system applications: - A Low tendency to adsorb moisture. - Formulated with a high concentration of carbon black allowing processor to use less. Specifications this product, when used in conjunction with the SI-LINK™ Polyethylene moisture curable insulation system, provides carbon black for UV protection. To achieve 2.5% carbon black in the final product, this product should be incorporated at a level of 6.3%. Packaging DFDB-5410 BK is available in 25-kg foil bags or 1500-lb foil-lined bulk cartons.
