ECOSURF™ AEL-6880 Surfactant

A readily biodegradable specialty surfactant developed for highly concentrated, unit-dose laundry formulations. Unlike PAEs, ECOSURF™ AEL avoids gel formation, making it easier to formulate with while ensuring excellent cleaning performance. This nonionic surfactant can enable a reduction of solvent use, simplifying formulations. In the case of high anionic containing formulations, AEL maintains its strong viscosity control and inhibits gelation. With a readily biodegradable classification, no eye irritation, and no aquatic toxicity, this surfactant has a highly favorable environmental health and safety profile, minimizing labeling needs. The CASN is 68002-96-0, it is initiated by a C16-18 alcohol.
