石油生産の改善に向けて掘り進む 

石油生産のさまざまな形態で役立つCELLOSIZE™ヒドロキシエチルセルロース(HEC)は、フィルムの高密度化、懸濁、結合、安定、分散、形成、さらには乳化、水の保持、保護コロイド作用が可能となる非イオン性の水溶性ポリマー群です。これらの他に類を見ない材料は、通常のコロイド特性を伴う中程度の粘度から最低限の溶解物質を伴う最大粘度まで幅広い粘度の溶液を作る際に利用できます。 

改修フルイドと仕上げフルイドでは、CELLOSIZE™HECは増粘剤となります。これは、石油生産者が油層への損害を最低限にとどめる上で役立つ透明な低個体フルイドをもたらす際に一助となります。HECで濃密化されたフルイドは、炭化水素回収の可能性を最大限高めるため酸や酵素、酸化剤で容易に軟化されます。

フラクチャリングフルイドでは、HEC材料はプロパントのキャリアーとしての役割を果たします。これらのフルイドは、酸や酵素、酸化剤で容易に軟化させることが可能です。

低固形概念を用いて、CELLOSIZE™ HECで組成される掘削フルイドは、浸透率の高まりをもたらし掘削坑が安定します。特性抑制フルイドは、硬度が中程度から硬い岩層の掘削やシェールのヒーブ(heave)またはスラフ(slough)抽出で利用可能です。

セメント作業において、HEC材料はスラリーの流体摩擦を軽減し油層への水流失を最低限にとどめます。
