OROTAN™ 901 Dispersant

Versatile, multi-purpose, low foaming polyacid pigment dispersant which offers outstanding performance in low sheen latex paint formulations. This polyacid dispersant offers excellent stability and color acceptance in formulations containing reactive pigments such as zinc oxide. Supplied 30% solids in the ammonia form. It is highly compatible with anionic HASE associative rheology modifiers providing excellent performance for viscosity stability and color acceptance. Recommended for use in high solids content pigment slurries because of its ability to maintain slurry stability. Slurries are gaining popularity in the coatings area because of the advantages in pumping and handling liquids as opposed to solids. Highly efficient dispersant, particularly at high pigment loading which inhibits flocculation or viscosity increase in the pigment slurry.
