WALOCEL™ MK 3000 PF Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Ether

A hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ehter designed to improve the quality and processing characteristics of cement-based materials such as tile grouts. Compatible with almost all conventional mineral and organic binders, WALOCEL™ MK 3000 PF imparts well-balanced properties to tile grouts such as flow of fresh mortar, open time and good impact on sedimentation and bleeding. It also enhances rheology, workability and water retention. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.This product has a lower product carbon footprint version available under Decarbia™ Dow brand.
