WALOCEL™ M 120-01 Cellulose Ether

A modified hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC). WALOCEL™ M 120-01 Cellulose Ether was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives. It imparts adhesion, shear strength, good workability, open time, and enhances water retention. The selected particle size distribution helps to achieve quick or lump free dissolution. It is compatible with almost all conventional mineral and organic binders. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.This product has a lower product carbon footprint version available under Decarbia™ Dow brand.
