WALOCEL™ M 8804 Cellulose Ether

Designed for use in lightweight tape joint compounds. It imparts well-balanced properties, including excellent open time, tape-bond adhesion and crack resistance. This product is also designed to provide a good balance of rheological properties, offering outstanding workability for both hand tool and machine tool application. The selected particle size distribution and surface treatment for delayed hydration offer quick, lump-free dissolution. It is compatible with all conventional mineral fillers and organic binders. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
