Qué es DOWSIL™ Z-70 Emulsion?
Used as a hydrophobic additive in silicone resin based render and coating formulations known to have high moisture vapor permeability and good liquid water repellency. Also used for Admixture for cementitious based product with improved water resistance (e.g.pavers).

- Admixture for cementitious based product with improved water resistance (e.g.pavers)
Beneficios
- Can be diluted in water or used as supplied to provide hydrophobic properties in different applications
- Induces water repellency to cured cement-based mortar
- Silanol groups react chemically with hydroxy functional sites on the substrate, pigments or cement hydrates
- Induces water repellency of dried silicone resins based render
- Enhanced beading and hydrophobing effect can be achieved when used in conjunction with DOWSIL™ IE-2404 Emulsion in render
- Addition levels of emulsion of hydroxyl functional polydimethylsiloxane fluid in render or cementitious material are ranged between 0.5 and 2 %
- High water repellency and beading
- High water vapor permeability
- Increased resistance to UV degradation
