WALOCEL™ MK 25000 PFV Cellulose Ether

A hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) with delayed solubility designed for use as a rheology modifier/thickener for ready-to-use construction applications such as tape joint compounds. It has a surface treatment that allows for a delayed dissolution. This product imparts well-balanced properties, including water demand, workability, open time, crack resistance and bond strength. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
