ROCRYL™ 430 Hydroxypropyl Acrylate (HPA)

Clear, colorless liquid with a slight acrylic odor. It comprises of a polymerizable acrylate functional group in one end and a reactive hydroxyl group at the other end. It is readily miscible with water and with most organic solvents and has relatively low volatility. It copolymerizes readily with a wide variety of monomers, and the added hydroxyl groups impart properties such as hydrophilicity, improved adhesion to substrates, chemical, fogging, and scratch resistance, crosslinking sites, low VOCs, and weatherability.
