Scale Removal

Normally a 3 – 10% by volume aqueous solution of VERSENE* 100 chelating agent effectively removes many types of scale deposits, including calcium sulfate (gypsum), calcium carbonate (limestone) calcium phosphate (hydroxyapatite), and calcium oxylate. These scales can be dissolved with VERSENE chelating agents without any significant corrosion problems.
