UCON™ Fluids & Lubricants Business To Host “Virtual” Tradeshow Booth for STLE 2008

Midland, MI - May 19, 2008

The Dow Performance Fluids Business will host a three dimensional walk through in cyber space with a virtual STLE tradeshow booth. The “stand” will be online for the convenience of people who want to be in touch with Dow during the tradeshow, but will not be able to attend in person. The actual STLE Tradeshow will be May 19 – 22, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio. The virtual booth will be on line at the same time.

Last year, Dow hosted its first virtual STLE booth ever and welcomed hundreds of visitors. The success of that effort is the reason the company decided to repeat it again in 2008. Many more are expected to visit online this year. Dow’s marketing managers recognize the need to use alternative media, like an online tradeshow, to reach customers and other interested persons who want to use, or just investigate, the excellent chemistry available from Dow. And while the virtual experience will never replace actually attending STLE, it is the next best thing.

Interested persons can access the virtual booth starting on Monday, May 19, 2008 at www.ucon.com. All the graphics and presentations given at the conference are available in the three dimensional walk-through. Visitors will also have the opportunity to ask questions and order literature.
