On Wednesday, April 1, 2009, The Dow Chemical Company completed its acquisition of Rohm and Haas.  The combination of Dow and Rohm and Haas creates a leading specialty chemicals and advanced materials company, combining the two organizations’ best-in-class technologies, broad geographic reach and strong industry channels to create an outstanding business portfolio. As one company, we will be able to better serve our customers, offering greater depth and breadth of innovative products and services in more markets around the world.
