POLYOX™ Resins are used extensively as flocculating agents in mining operations. High molecular weight grades of POLYOX Water-Soluble Resins, sold under the UCARFLOC™ name, effectively adsorb onto many colloidal materials and perform as efficient flocculating agents. They exhibit a high affinity for a variety of materials, including silica, clays, and oxidized coal fines. See the table below.



POLYOX Resins are used as lubricants and drag reduction agents for pipeline slurry transport. They also have utility as dust suppressants.
