PO Homopolymers
SYNALOX™ Water Insoluble Lubricant Base Stocks are homopolymers of propylene oxide. This family of polyglycols is insoluble in water, but is not compatible with mineral oils. Water Insoluble SYNALOX™ Fluids are particularly used as base stocks in industrial gear oils, mill, and calender lubricants. Dow offers an extensive viscosity range of SYNALOX™ Water Insoluble Fluid grades from ISO 32 to 680.
