Foam Control
Overview
DOW polypropylene glycols and polyglycol copolymers offer effective foam control at low concentrations without adversely affecting the process or end product. These products are ideal for use when the process surface requires a post-treatment, because they are easily removed and leave no residue.
DOW polypropylene glycols and polyglycol copolymers are widely used in a range of foam control applications, either as neat products, or a component of foam-control formulations. For those applications where a formulated product is required, they dissolve in a wide variety of organic liquids and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Typical applications include fermentation, food processing, paper processing, chemical processing, acid gas treatment, mining, oil drilling, and textile processing.
