Background

INSPIRE 114 Performance Polymer is a unique product based on Dow proprietary technology that takes performance and processing ability to new levels. INSPIRE 114 Performance Polymer provides excellent processing characteristics with improved low-temperature impact properties for pipes that require higher e-modulus or ring stiffness properties.

INSPIRE™ 114 Performance Polymer used for pipe bring:

Processability

Benefits include significant improvements in line speed characteristics exemplified by lower melt pressure, lower torque, and lower melt temperatures. Improvements of up to 40% have been observed when using INSPIRE 114 Performance Polymer over traditional impact co-polymer polypropylene (PP) resins used for pipe applications.

INSPIRE 114 Performance Polymer can be used on existing extrusion equipment designed for pipe made with PP resins with no need for modification.
