Applications

Latex LXC 8476NA is the “industry standard” in the Dow carpet latex product line. Latex LXC 8476NA is an ammonia-free product specifically designed for residential carpet or higher-load commercial carpet applications and can be used for both precoat and secondary coating applications. Latex LXC 8476NA performs well in both direct and pan applicators.

This latex typically reduces thickener demand as compared to other styrene-butadiene latex products. In Tillotson secondary coater applications, Latex LXC 8476NA requires a relatively low amount of thickener to achieve very high viscosities.

The runnability and excellent physical properties achieved with Latex LXC 8476NA make it an ideal choice for the Finishing Manager looking for peace of mind.
