Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) is commonly used in the manufacture of lube oil additives, fuel additives, chelating agents, surfactants and fabric softeners among other applications. It is an organic base with unique properties that make it an invaluable intermediate. The primary and secondary amine groups, together with the hydroxyl group, combine the features of an ethyleneamine and an ethanolamine. Its molecular weight is 104.15.

AEEA is used primarily in the following applications:

Chelating Agents
Coatings
Fabric Softeners
Fuel Additives
Lube Oil Additives
Surfactants
