Whether you are a formulator putting biocidal products on the market or an end user sourcing biocidal products, everyone who works with biocides must comply with BPR.
This portal provides our customers with the latest regulatory information to manage the ongoing challenges.
More than 20 years ago the Biocidal Product Directive 98/8/EC (BDP) was first drafted and in 2013 the Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) 528/2012 (BPR) replaced the BPD.
Since September 1st, 2015 any biocidal product consisting of, containing, or generating a relevant substance, cannot be made available on the EU market, if the substance supplier or product supplier is not included on the Article 95 list for the product type(s) to which the product belongs.
All along, Dow Microbial Control has been assisting customers in maintaining compliance and business sustainability, so that they can positively answer the question: Are you ready for BPR?
