SILASTIC™ 3D 3335 Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) is a two-part (1:1 mix ratio) platinum-catalyzed, thermoset liquid silicone rubber. With a 50 Shore A hardness.
The base material is highly transparent, making it ideal for applications where clarity and transparency are vital. SILASTIC™ 3D 3335 Liquid Silicone Rubber also may be printed in a range of standard colors via the use of compatible color packs and precision dosing equipment.
This groundbreaking material is formulated to combine the performance benefits of silicone elastomers with the design and processing advantages of additive manufacturing.
Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM) is a technique that allows the application of a liquid material such as liquid silicone rubber. The LAM printer extrudes the liquid onto a building platform layer by layer. The liquid is vulcanized by exposing to heat.
