HYPERLAST™ Polyurethane Systems for Air and Liquid Filters

HYPERLAST™ Polyurethane Systems are extremely versatile and can be used for foams for air and liquid filtration, to form housings and for adhesives and sealants. There are no restrictions on the filter shape, because the polyurethane can be used in awkward situations and difficult environments.

HYPERLAST Polyurethane Systems offer several features and benefits for filter applications:

  • Exceptional tear resistance
  • Low processing costs
  • High temperatures for molding and curing are not required
  • Low capital cost
  • Machinery for processing polyurethane is comparatively simple and inexpensive.
  • Resists solvents, fuel, oils, greases and salts.
  • Performs consistently over a wide temperature range.
  • Use as a flexible or rigid elastomer, foam or adhesive
  • Choice of colors

HYPERLAST™ Polyurethane Systems have been successfully used in applications such as:

  • Air filters for automotive applications
