A pressure-driven membrane technology that separates particulate matter from solutions, helping to provide clean water at a lower cost.
Ultrafiltration (UF) technology uses a membrane barrier to exclude particles as small as 0.01 microns, including bacteria, viruses and colloids. Advantages of UF compared to conventional treatment such as clarifiers and media filters, are its high tolerance to feed water quality upsets, absolute barrier and improved water quality. If you are new to UF, learn more here.
Dow has over 70 years of experience with industry leading separation technologies, including ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology. Our portfolio of products is designed for outstanding membrane separation, extreme productivity and efficiency, exceptional reliability and a small footprint. Our products are proven in more than 900 ultrafiltration installations worldwide in a variety of municipal and industrial water applications. Put simply, we help provide clean water at a lower cost and provide experience you would expect from the leader in separation technologies.
Our powerful UF product portfolio features DOW IntegraFlux™ Ultrafiltration Modules and DOW IntegraPac™ Ultrafiltration Skids that utilize our latest high permeability XP fiber to improve operating efficiencies and productivity. The modules incorporate PVDF hollow fiber membranes in an outside-in flow configuration with a 0.03 micron nominal pore diameter making them an excellent choice to protect downstream processes such as RO. The modules provide excellent performance, industry leading membrane area with low energy and chemical consumption, effectively minimizing the number of modules needed for your design. The modules are an excellent choice for high removal capability for viruses, bacteria, suspended solids, colloids and pathogens from water and have been tested and certified by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 61, and also have NSF/ANSI 419 LRV certifications facilitating safe use in drinking water applications.
There’s nothing like the proven performance of Dow's popular family of pressurized ultrafiltration (UF) modules. You also have the flexibility to select the 26 and 28 series Dow Ultrafiltration modules or the newest Dow innovation, the IntegraFlux modules with XP fiber that provides up to 35% higher permeability than previous generation modules improving operating efficiencies and productivity.
Now you can upgrade your industrial or municipal water plant with Dow’s newest member of the IntegraFlux product family, the DOW IntegraFlux™ UXA-2680XP UF Module. The UXA-2680’s extremely permeable XP Fiber delivers groundbreaking high-flux, low-energy performance, and its design makes switching modules easy – no hardware or process changes needed to switch from your MF module.
