Better flow can improve processing, raise productivity and increase design freedom. Improved flowability of a compound results in lower injection pressures and improves mold fill/release in thin-wall and complex designs. However, some flowability additives can affect the mechanical properties of the material.

Our advanced silicone additives significantly improve flow while maintaining or even improving impact performance, heat aging and flexural strength and modulus. Our technology reduces viscosity by creating a film between the mold and the material, and by internally lubricating polymer molecules.

Our additives deliver high flow at significantly lower loadings than PTFE. Our ultra-high molecular weight solutions also provide equal or better flowability vs. lower molecular weight silicone oil products.
