Dow School Supports Multicultural Families in Korea
Dow employees presented science exploration to families from multicultural centers in Korea during Dow School activities May 17.
Children made lava lamps, ornithopters and makeshift spectroscopes during Dow School classes May 17 at several multicultural centers in Korea.
Dow School is a monthly activity program that began in 2013, offering science classes for children, parenting education programs and parenting guide books. About 10 Dow employees and their families took part in the most recent science projects.
“We hope that Dow School, which we run in collaboration with the Multicultural Support Center, contributes to resolving issues associated with children of multicultural families and multicultural families’ better relations with the community and serves as a foundation on which these families and the community can grow together,” said Dow Korea Country General Manager Dominic Yang. “We will continue to share with underprivileged neighbors within our community in the future.”
