Annual Event Shows Sixth-grade Girls that Science Careers Abound

Twelve Dow STEM Ambassadors shared their energy and expertise with about 125 sixth-grade students at a STEM conference hosted by the Philadelphia Area Girls Enjoying Science organization.

The program, designed to increase girls' interest in science and mathematics and foster an awareness of varied career opportunities for women, takes place each fall and spring at Chestnut Hill College. More than 50 other women scientists joined the Dow volunteers in inspiring the students.
