GLAD Partners With PFLAG to Help STEM Students

For the 12th time, the Gays, Lesbians and Allies Employee Network at Dow (GLAD) is teaming with the national organization Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) to offer STEM scholarships for LGBTA students.

“Dow remains firmly committed to the principles of diversity and inclusion and supporting this scholarship program, which allows us to help cultivate the next generation of leaders in science and technology,” said Howard I. Ungerleider, executive vice president of Dow.

Students must show a strong interest and skill set in science, technology, engineering and/or math and support LGBT equality in their communities in order to receive the scholarship. Once selected, each recipient will receive $3,500 for college.

The deadline to apply for this year’s scholarships has passed, but you can learn more about the program and keep in touch for future scholarships at
